The bit that was most interesting to me is Norway recommending not giving the vaccine the frail elderly people over the age of 80. From memory these are the ones that make up most of the Covid-19 deaths, but if you are frail and elderly, you are at risk of most things. It does seem odd that the ones we need to protect the most are most at risk of the vaccine killing them.
Otherwise the results seem quite promising, just with the unknown factors of long term health challenges and efficacy of the vaccine.
I think most people who have studied virus’ with the mutation rate of the Corona Virus’ would have anticipated that the vaccine would be short lived. I guess the future will mean more people lining up for a flu jab each year.
