Flash Back!

A crowd gathers in Parliament grounds below the partially completed Beehive on 14 October 1977 to demonstrate against the proposed SIS Amendment Act. New Zealand Security Intelligence Service Amendment Act (No 2) 1999 (1999 No 91) which gave the Govt the right to authorizing a person to intercept or seize any communication from New Zealanders was the main issue of the time!
