During the election campaign, Jacinda Ardern and Judith Collins both promised an inquiry into Pharmac. Look what happened this morning when National pushed for one in the Health Select Committee….
This government has opened the cheque book with almost unlimited funds in the name of every life matters when it comes to Covid, but not when it comes to Pharmac & anyone unlucky enough to have life a threatening illness requiring costly drugs is shit out of luck as the PM thinks “be kind” is a part time platitude.
They say they are still going to do something, but at arms length. Pity their Covid management isn’t at arms length!
