Isn’t it wonderful that in the midst of Ricardo Mendenez-March’s worry over his ill father and step-mother, which forced him to fly to Mexico during a pandemic, there was a silver lining to his cloud.

His boyfriend was able to return to NZ with him! It would have been impossible for the boyfriend to travel to New Zealand without being accompanied by aNew Zealand citizen.

It must have been quite a surprise to Ricardo when he realized that this would be a happy bonus to his desperate trip.
