Aotearoa is a resounding no thanks

A poll came out this week completed for Hobsons Pledge on how kiwis feel about changing the name of New Zealand to Aotearoa.

“Of those who have an opinion, 64 percent oppose changing the name of New Zealand to Aotearoa”

More than twice are strongly against the change than those that are strongly in favour.

Funny how the media are very quiet on this, but are giving the petition from the Maori party to change the name plenty of air time.

Might have something to do with the conditions the government has put on giving our tax dollars to the media, to supposedly keep honest journalism afloat.

When did NZ become a banana republic?
