Mining Magnate Clive Palmer was ordered to pay more than $1.5 million for using “We’re Not Gonna Take It” in his party’s political advertising. The court heard Palmer representative originally sought copyright approval before baulking at $150,000 fee & clause that the singer must OK the lyrics.
