Under National’s watch rent rises were under 4% per annum. Labour has seen rents increasing at close to 8%. That doesn’t include what will happen with the new changes they have made which will likely see another rapid increase.

Rents went from $290 per week to $400 under 9 long years of National, which is $110 per week.

Labour have added another $95 to that in 3 years.

Soon renters won’t just not be able to buy, they won’t be able to afford rent either
