Australia currently has legislation under consultation to be able to :

  1. deploy foreign armed forces on Oz territory in an emergency
  2. provide them complete immunity
  3. remove the requirement for the Minister to consult with any state or territory before deploying.
  4. The bill says that there is no standard definition of ‘EMERGENCY’.
