“Experts” are now confirming what “conspiracy theorists” have been saying for months.
The PCR test picks up old viral material in the body leading to positive results. This genetic material could be from any number of coronaviruses not just the current one going around.
The PCR test is not a diagnostic tool.
The PCR test is a diagnostic tool… I think you mean it is not a screening test. The PCR test is a significant invention which is one of the the most important discoveries in our understanding of genetics.. it is not designed to be used to screen for if you have or do not have a virus infection with the ways some people are using it. At the magnification that some people use it, it will show many false positives.
