Trump gets boost in Pennsylvania

A state judge in Pennsylvania is upholding her earlier injunction against the state’s certification of the 2020 election results, stating that a lawsuit alleging the unconstitutionality of a state ballot rule is “likel[y] to succeed” on its own merits.

Just the News

This could be the moment the Swing States go Trumps way, with Wisconsin likely to throw out 120,000 votes by the end of the weekend and swing back Trumps way.

This is just showing all those that said it’s over, that this is far from over.

It seems the Pennsylvania judge did not take too kindly to the state legislating from the bench. The ruling of allowing additional days for mail in votes to be counted has been deemed likely to be unconstitutional.

Judge McCullough writes in her ruling,

The petitioners appear to have established a likelihood to succeed on the merits because Petitioners have asserted the Constitution does not provide a mechanism for the legislature to allow for expansion of absentee voting without a constitutional amendment.

The Pennsylvania state department are claiming it’s too late as they have already certified Pennsylvania, however, McCullough has said there are several steps that need to occur before the state can be officially certified.

She goes on to say,

The emergency preliminary injunction was properly issued,” the ruling states, “and should be upheld pending an expedited emergency evidentiary hearing.

More to come on the Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
