Turns out climate alarmism predates fossil fuel

Ice cores tell us that the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere in 1971 was 288 parts per million. In the same year four major fires break out on the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago; Peshtigo, Wisconsin; Holland, Michigan; and Manistee, Michigan. The Great Chicago Fire is the most famous of these, leaving nearly 100,000 people homeless, although the Peshtigo Fire kills as many as 2,500 people, making it the deadliest in United States history.
This all occurred 9 years before Coal was used to generate electricity, so well before Co2 emissions.

1939, perhaps global warming hit sooner than we expected, oh no its business as normal more alarmism. in 1939 CO2 was 311 parts per million
