Why won’t Ecohealth hand over communication with the Wuhan lab?

Ecohealth is the arms length intermediary organisation that syphoned funds from the tax payer to the Wuhan Laboratory.
Months ago the Republicans requested all documents including emails, letters etc between Ecohealth chief Peter Daszak and the laboratory in regards to the work carried out.
To date Daszak has failed to provide the requested info which is interesting in its self. However, more telling is the house Democrats have not subpoenaed the info either, documents which would reveal more on what work was being funded on Corona viruses at the lab.
